  7. ICE.TEN is a set of DOS and UNIX/XENIX software which ties DOS to UNIX/XENIX
  8. via a serial connection in a way that is clean and transparent to the user.
  9. It includes three programs.  Deja Vu, a ``pop-up'' terminal emulator lets the
  10. DOS PC double as a terminal on the UNIX system.  Emulations include Wyse 60,
  11. SCO Console ANSI, and VT102.  Memory resident in 45 KB.  Downloadable and
  12. user-definable function keys are supported.  Responds to ANSI color escape
  13. sequences.  Supports local printing (transparent print) through LPT1:.
  14. Another program called Ucopy lets you transfer files between the DOS and UNIX
  15. systems, using the same syntax as the DOS COPY command.  For example, to
  16. transfer the file called sox.dat from UNIX to DOS, type ucopy u:sox.dat at a
  17. DOS C> prompt.  Finally, a program called Dshell provides a DOS-like command
  18. set on UNIX, so that UNIX looks like DOS.  Dshell also executes UNIX commands
  19. so that for example, both ``ls -l'' and ``DIR'' work.  ICE.TEN allows
  20. installation on up to 8 DOS PCs in the same location and a single UNIX/XENIX
